Non-warranty repair request
If you need to return your pump to our factory for non-warranty repair.
Procedure
Please fill out the RMA request forms (attached) or the online form (here). Please do not send in a pump without an RMA number or your unit may be returned to you or require a decontamination and processing fee. Units sent in without an RMA may also be severely delayed.
You may also need to establish an account with us, if you have not done business directly with KD Scientific please also return the attached credit application along with your returns request.
Special Notes:
If your pump is still under warranty: Please contact the distributor through which you purchased your equipment. Your distributor handles the warranty, and will process all the paperwork. Technical support can assist you in determining if the pump is still under warranty and if needed confirm where it was purchased
Many problems can be solved by the customer with assistance of Technical Support. Contacting Technical Support before initiating a return request is strongly recommended.
Please make sure that your form contains:
*Catalog number of item
*Serial number of item
*Return shipping address
*Billing address (if a non-warranty repair)
*Sufficient detail on the symptoms that your unit is experiencing for our technician to diagnose and repair the pump.
If the RMA form does not contain these, we will need to contact you for that information.
What to expect:
Once your unit is properly received in, it will be evaluated and an estimate will be sent to you for approval. Once approval and payment is procured your unit will be repaired and returned to you.
We have many well worn units that we do our best to repair, but sometimes we cannot repair them. If a unit is in a state that we cannot repair you will be contacted by us with next steps.
